I had the pleasure to draw this 360º panorama from the top of the skyscraper designed by Jean Nouvel, located in the middle of Barcelona, at the intersection of Avinguda Diagonal and Avinguda Meridiana.
Torre Glories, formerly known as Torre Agbar, is an architectural icon of the city of Barcelona and one of its most famous buildings. Its facade is covered by LED light surfaces changing color at night.
I drew it in October 2021, while Jeffrey Martin was shooting this stunning gigapixel 360º panorama.
To cover the whole sphere I have sketched standing in several position of the tower along the walkway between the building and the facade. The drawing process took me a couple of hours, there were too many things to see and I have often found myself staring at the city instead of sketching!
